The best 100m in Kruger ?.

Over the last year I’ve been fortunate enough to spend over 2,000 hours in the Kruger and I’m coming to the realisation that our little 100m of river frontage is probably the best 100m of road, river, donga or koppie anywhere in the park.

Over the last 12 months we have seen 4 kills, (3 lion and 1 Croc), and had elephant, (hundreds), Cheetah, Hyena, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, fighting, and grazing hippo, (lots), warthog, amazing birds and bugs.

Just 6 weeks ago our guests were able to whiteness the full cycle of a kill from the lions, (12 of the vurahmi versus one buffalo, no contest), the kill, the lions feeding over the next day then the Hyena and vulture leaving us with just the bare bones and horns as a salutary reminder to the Impala and other pains game to keep at leat one eye open when they come to visit.

Oh and did I mention that the sun sets in front of our deck.

A truly stunning location.
